ChallenGAA

ChallenGAA is an innovative formulation containing guanidinoacetic acid (GAA, 96%), which can be fed to animals through feed. GAA is a precursor to creatine in the body. Under normal circumstances, the body synthesizes GAA, but this process consumes essential nutrients and energy. Supplementing GAA directly in the feed is beneficial. This direct approach ensures optimal supply of creatine, not only saving arginine but also providing additional benefits such as enhancing the body's immune system, thereby reducing mortality and improving heat resistance.

PRODUCT DETAILS

Guanidinoacetic acid (GAA) is an amino acid derivative and precursor for creatine which plays a significant role in energy metabolism. Guanidinoacetate supplementation has proven to be a stable feed additive in animal feed by the European Food Safety Authority (2009). GAA has been tested as a potential feed additive to enhance growth performance, feed conversion ratio (FCR), meat yield and quality, reproductive performance, and as an arginine sparing agent. Numerous studies indicate that adding guanidinoacetic acid to the diet can enhance the growth performance of aquatic animal, pigs and poultry, improve meat quality, and increase feed efficiency.
