Enterococcus faecalis (UC 100) is a new generation probiotic product developed by the Challenge Group. This product adopts the pre-coating technology before fermentation (Patent No. ZL201310121179.1), encapsulates E. faecalis in microcapsules and continues to proliferate to obtain microcapsules containing high density and high activity of E. faecalis. UC 100 can maintain high activity in adverse environment such as high temperature and pressure, stomach acid, bile salt, and can be directly released in the intestine and quickly colonize, thus effectively playing the role of probiotics.

Enterococcus faecalis is a lactic acid-producing Gram-positive facultative anaerobic bacterium that is ubiquitous in the intestines of humans and animals. E. faecalis can maintain and ensure the stability of the best combination of intestinal flora by adjusting the relationship between intestinal flora, and improve animal health and production performance. E. faecalis has been identified as a safe, direct-feed probiotic and is widely used in feed and livestock farming.
