In November 1997, Beijing Challenge Feed Technology Group was established and officially announced to entry into the animal husbandry industry.

In October 2001, Beijing Challenge Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. was established. It is integrated with scientific research and development, production and management, technical services, and international trade, in order to help Challenge Group becoming a leader in the high-tech feed industry.

In December 2004, Beijing Challenge Husbandry Technology Co., Ltd. was invested and established by Beijing Challenge Group. It is a high-tech company specialized in R&D, production and operation of high-tech premixes for livestock, poultry and aquatic products. The company provides technical support, management consulting, scientific and technological information and other services for feed and breeding companies, and extensively develops strategic business alliances.

In June 2006, Beijing Challenge Bio-technology Co., Ltd. was invested and established by Challenge Group. It integrates scientific research and development, production and management, technical services, domestic and international trade, and is committed to providing customers with high-tech feed additives and premixes.

In September 2007, Beijing Challenge International Trade Co., Ltd. was invested and established by Challenge Group. The company is committed to providing farmers worldwide with feed additives such as biological enzyme preparations, microecological preparations, and functional additives and comprehensive solutions for animal health to the world's farmers.

In October 2008, the National Engineering Research Center of Biological Feed was established. The center cooperates with the China Agricultural University, the National Feed Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, the Institute of Microbiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the National Engineering Laboratory for Bio-feed Safety and Pollution Prevention and Control, to develop new scientific technology and transform the research achievements into the profitable business.

In November 2010, Tianjin Biofeed Technology Co., Ltd. was invested and established by Challenge Group. It focuses on the development and production of high-tech biological enzyme preparations and premix, and is committed to providing customers with high-quality, safe and effective feed additives and professional services.

In August 2011, Beijing Challenge SKF Bio-technology Co., Ltd. was founded by Challenge Group. It is a high-tech company focusing on the development and production of microecological preparations for feed. The company mainly produces environmental friendly feed additives, such as lactic acid bacteria, bacillus, compound probiotics, sodium butyrate, potassium diformate, etc., and it is committed to providing customers with high-quality, safe and efficient products and professional services.

In December 2015, the post-doctoral scientific research workstation was officially established to introduce and train talents for the Challenge Group, improve the company’s technological innovation capabilities, and promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into productivity.

In October 2016, the academician workstation was established to promote the transformation and industrialization of high technology and build value and growth by protecting independent intellectual property and independent brands, as well as cultivate innovative talents.

In December 2016, Safety Food Agricultural Scientific Research Co., Ltd. was established to provide customers with high-quality, safe, feature and delicious meat and egg products. It creates a professional service platform focusing on food nutrition, production and processing technology research.

In January 2017, the Challenge Group Research Institute was established with an R&D system, including biological enzyme preparation technology, microecological preparation technology, biological feed additive technology, biological function premix technology, and biological fermentation feed technology. The R&D team is composed of many senior experts in the industry, so that it provides to customers with various technical solutions, such as the application of biological feed additives, environmental protection, antibiotic substitution, mycotoxin degradation, efficient utilization of soybean meal, and replacement of plasma protein powder.

In November 2017, Beijing Biofeed Technology Co., Ltd. was established, it focuses on providing technical support, management consulting, scientific and technological information and other services for agricultural and animal husbandry enterprises.

In October 2018, the National Engineering Research Center for Biological Feed Development became a third-party testing agency accredited by the National CNAS.

In January 2019, the Challenge Group was restructured and formed the three new sectors of 'Challenge System' and established a partnership company, which is composed of 'seven regions' and 'three business divisions'.
