Sodium butyrate has good fluidity, is easy to mix with other feeds and will not affect the pH of the feed, and has a special smell of rancid cheese. Butyric acid is the active ingredient of sodium butyrate. It can directly supply energy to epithelial cells and promote intestinal development without going through the tricarboxylic acid cycle and hepatobiliary absorption.
